# Connect a Microsoft Account

> Enable SMTP/IMAP on Microsoft 365 or Outlook and connect your account to HuntReach.

## 🛠️ Step 1: Access the Microsoft Admin Center

1. Sign in with your admin account at:\
   👉 [Microsoft Admin Center](https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal)
2. Go to the **Active Users** section:\
   👉 [Active Users](https://admin.microsoft.com/adminportal/home#/users)

## ⚙️ Step 2: Enable email apps

1. Click the relevant user to open the side panel.
2. Go to the **Mail** tab and click **Manage email apps**.
3. Enable the following options:
   * ✅ **IMAP**
   * ✅ **Authenticated SMTP**
4. Click **Save changes** to apply.

⚠️ **Important**: These settings are required to allow SMTP/IMAP connections through HuntReach.

## ⏳ Step 3: Wait for activation

* Wait around **1 hour** for the changes to take effect.
* Then return to HuntReach to connect your Outlook/Microsoft 365 account.

## 🔗 Step 4: Connect the account on HuntReach

1. Go to the email settings:\
   👉 [HuntReach Email Settings](https://app.huntreach.com/dashboard/settings/emails)
2. Click **Connect Email**.
3. Choose the **Custom Email** option.
4. Fill in the following SMTP/IMAP fields:

| Field         | Recommended Value                                |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **Email**     | Your Microsoft 365/Outlook email address         |
| **IMAP Host** | `outlook.office365.com`                          |
| **IMAP Port** | `993`                                            |
| **SMTP Host** | `smtp.office365.com`                             |
| **SMTP Port** | `587`                                            |
| **Password**  | Your account password (or app-specific password) |

🔐 **Security**: If two-factor authentication is enabled, you'll need to generate an **app password** from your Microsoft account.
